The trip to Galapagos was perfectly organized; clear agreements were made and respected, we were accompanied by very experienced and very pleasant guides. The overnight lodges met our expectations. A very nice holiday with nothing but good memories!
We are less satisfied with the part of Ecuador. The planned city time in Quito we found rather limited (4 hours). The tour only happened in the old town and not in the new.
On the other hand, all transfers happened as planned. Our guide Andres (or a replacement) was always on site at the agreed hour. Due to the variety of guides there was uncertainty about what was and was not in the itinerary. As a result, we have not been able to view Cotopaxi National Park as extensively as we would like. I would have liked to know from you what was right for us; Was there a visit there?
Despite the above problems with the guides, our holiday remains an unforgettable experience! The lodges in the Amazon and Banos were more luxurious than expected.
