Floating icebergs
Paradise Bay of Paradise Harbor is a natural harbor, sheltered by the surrounding mountains from violent winter storms. In the water, icebergs float where you can see dragons and swans, but from a different angle they take on a new shape.
This is the ideal place to sail by zodiac or kayak over the still water, to dream away in wonder. A crab seal lies lazily on an ice floe and follows you as you glide past. Close to the icebergs it is easy to see that most of the iceberg is underwater. The game of shapes and colour nuances under and above water is unreal beautiful... Keep your eyes peeled for movement in the surface of the water: in the serene silence, a minke whale can come to the surface almost unnoticed.
Paradise Bay belongs to the Antarctic Peninsula.
