Renaissance in rolling hills
In Tuscany you can find everything that makes Italy such a great destination. Drive through the hilly landscape with dark green cypress trees, here and there a terracotta-colored villa and in the distance a village at the top of a hill. Wander through atmospheric places like Siena with piazza del Campo, San Gimignano, and charming Arezzo. Along the way, make a stop at an impressive castle, a picturesque winery, and be immersed in the treasures of Florence's Renaissance where you'll experience where Michelangelo and Machiavelli took their inspiration from. Tuscany also has a number of nature reserves with a very different landscape of rugged coastlines, snow-capped peaks and deep ravines. The foothills of the jagges Apenines for example are situatied in the north and parts of the coast are covered with pine forests.
