In the far north, you will head to Mapungubwe, an area of beautifully diverse wildlife and the archaeological site of remains from ancient African kingdoms. Tzaneen is a lively and fertile center where tobacco, coffee, tea, vegetables and fruits are grown. There is beautiful subtropical vegetation, waterfalls and rapids. A "must" is the Magoebaskloof with one of the steepest mountain passes in South Africa.
